develop a basic understanding on: Basic accounting concepts and principles;
recording transactions; preparation of trial balance, balance sheet and income
statement; opening and closing the accounts; accounting for different business
organizations.

Exam Dates
Midterm Exam: The dates will be announced
fifteen days before the exam.
Final Exams: January 16-27, 2006
Grading Policy
1st. Midterm Exam: 30 %, 2nd. Midterm Exam: 30 %, Final Exam: 40 %,
Homework & Class Participation: 10 % (Bonus).
Classroom attendance is mandatory. Students, who are absent over 30% of the class time fail the course.
